Open for joy

Lately, I’ve been reading Happy Money by Ken Honda, and it’s inspired me to pause and reevaluate:

✨ What do I want my business to be?
✨ Who do I want to be in the process?
✨ What kind of impact do I want to make?

I have a blank slate in front of me. How do I get the most from this opportunity?

One idea from the book that’s really stuck with me is this:

“Happy, prosperous people earn money by doing what brings them joy — and that joy begets more joy.”

That’s the kind of energy I want to cultivate — magnetic, generous, open. More maro (the opposite of ego): emitting and attracting positivity, feeling energized by what truly matters, and expressing deeper gratitude for life.

Joy. I've been experimenting with different types of work. Some of it brings me joy; some of it, not so much. Is it really possible to create a career that brings me joy all the time? Or even 50% of the time? And also pays the bills? I'm eager to experiment to figure it out.

💡 I’m excited to be launching a new program called Create Space — more on this soon — and it aligns with this mindset shift. It’s designed to help women carve out time to rediscover joy, connection, and purpose.

I’m learning to receive — to stay open to the unexpected and trust that what’s meant for me will find me. Because when you focus less on chasing outcomes and more on sharing your gifts, supporting others, and living with intention, that’s where the real magic happens. If you have ideas on what I should be exploring, send them my way! I'm open for joy.

“When we are calm and collected, sharing our abilities with others is rather simple.”

Wish me luck in staying calm and collected on this journey! Here’s to building with more joy, more intention, and more gratitude. 💛
